Sugar Free Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

Cranberries are one of the only major fruits native to North America, which may be why they are rumored to have been served at the first Thanksgiving. We haven’t heard of them being served in oatmeal cookies at this first national dinner, but we highly recommend it for your Thanksgiving table.

You Will Need:

1 box Firenza Sugar Free Oatmeal Cookie Mix
1/2 cup cranberries
1 egg
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
1 tsp water

1. Heat oven to 375°.

2. Combine butter, egg and water in a large bowl. Add cranberries and cookie mix to bowl and fold together until dough forms.

3. Place rounded teaspoons of dough onto baking sheet about 2″ apart.

4. Bake 9-11 minutes for soft, chewy cookies, 12-13 minutes for crispy cookies.

5. Remove from oven. Wait 3-5 minutes before removing cookies from baking sheet. Cool completely before eating.
