Sugar Free Oatmeal Nut Cookies, Sugar-Free and Nutty!
When we want a little crunch in our oatmeal cookies we turn to walnuts or pecans. Either chopped walnuts or pecans give a slight but not overpowering nutty flavor to our sugar free oatmeal cookies.
You Will Need:
1 Box Firenza Sugar Free Oatmeal Cookie Mix
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 egg
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
1 tsp. water
1. Heat oven to 375˚.
2. Combine butter, egg and water in a large bowl. Add chocolate chips and mix and fold together until dough forms.
3. Place rounded teaspoons of dough onto baking sheet about 2″ apart.
4. Bake 9-11 minuets for soft, chewy cookies, 12-13 minutes for crispy cookies.
5. Remove from oven. Wait 3-5 minutes before removing cookies from baking sheet. Cool completely before eating.
