Traditional Beer Bread $5.50

Just add beer, mix and bake - it’s really that easy! Enjoy homemade bread right from your oven in less than an hour. Serve with soups and salads, or along with your favorite meal. Makes wonderful toast, muffins and pizza crust. Net weight 18.0 oz. Servings - about 13.

Baking Instructions

You will need:

  • 1 Box Firenza Traditional Beer Bread Mix
  • 12 oz. Beer or Sparkling Water

Bread Baking Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Grease or spray bottom of a 9”x 5” bread pan.
  2. Fold bread mix and beer together in a large bowl for about 30 seconds. Do not over mix dough.
  3. Place dough into pan, filling corners. Pour 2 Tbsp. melted butter on top (optional).
  4. Bake 50-55 minutes until crust is golden brown. Remove bread from pan and let cool before slicing.

Muffin Baking Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Pour beer and 1 Tbsp. melted butter or oil into bowl. Add mix and stir for about 30 seconds. Batter will be lumpy. Do not over mix.
  2. Spoon batter into greased 12 cup muffin pan, about 2/3 full.
  3. Top with melted butter (optional). Bake 20-25 minutes.

Pizza Crust Baking Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 425°. Grease or spray 14” pan or baking sheet.
  2. Fold bread mix and beer together in a large bowl for about 30 seconds. Do not over mix dough.
  3. Spread dough onto pan, forming a 12” circle for thick crust, or a 14” circle for a thin crust.
  4. Bake 18-20 minutes for thin crust, 25-30 minutes for thick crust. Remove crust from oven, add toppings and bake 5-10 minutes more.

Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), salt.

Try this variation with your favorite Cheddar, Monterey Jack or other cheese:

 

Add 1 cup of shredded cheese to mix then follow bread or muffin baking instructions. (Option: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of bread or muffins before baking.)

 

Wonderful Wake-Up Bread
Nothing tastes better than fresh baked bread or muffins to start your morning!

 

Stir in 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 Tbsp. ground coffee to dry mix. Then follow bread or muffin baking instructions.
