Baking Instructions

You will need:

  • 1 Box Firenza Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Stick (1/2) Soft Butter

Cookie Baking Instructions - Yields 22 Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. (If using an insulated cookie sheet, heat oven to 400° F).
  2. Place about 1/2 of the cookie mix into bowl. Add soft butter and egg. Using an electric mixer, beat on low for about 30 seconds. Add remaining cookie mix  and beat until stiff dough forms – about 1 minute.
  3. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 2” apart.
  4. Bake 8–9 minutes for chewy cookies, 10–11 minutes for crispy cookies. Wait 2–3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

Cookie Baking Instructions - Yields 12 Large Cafe Style Cookies

  1. Prepare oven and dough (steps 1&2 above), then place heaping tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet, about 3” apart.
  2. Bake 10–11 minutes for chewy cookies, 12–13 minutes for crispy cookies. Wait 2–3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.

High Altitude: Bake at 25° F lower temperature for all cookie sheets.

Ingredients

Sugar, specialty flour (rice flour, potato starch, rice starch), chocolate chips (sugar, unsweetened chocolate, cocoa butter, soy lecithin [an emulsifier]), molasses powder, vanilla powder, salt, baking soda, xanthan gum.

Prepare dough as instructed on back panel. Add about 1⁄2 cup of one of the ingredients below, stir in, and continue with baking instructions.

  • Peanut butter, vanilla or butterscotch chips
  • Raisins or dried cranberries
  • Your favorite chopped nuts
