Pumpkin Spice Bread $5.50

A special blend of spices makes this the most flavorful pumpkin bread you’ll ever eat. Yum! Great for snacks and dessert, or make pumpkin muffins and serve warm for breakfast. Net Weight 15.0 oz. Servings - about 16.

 

Baking Instructions

You will need:

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil

Batter Preparation:

  1. Blend canned pumpkin, eggs and oil together in a large mixing bowl. 
  2. Add pumpkin bread mix and stir until moistened, about 30 seconds.

Bread Baking Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Pour batter into bread pan(s) and bake as follows:
    Pan Size: 8”x4” (1 loaf), bake 46-56 minutes.
    Pan Size: 9”x5” (1 loaf), bake 42-52 minutes.
    Mini-loafs Pan Size: 5”x3” (3 loaves), bake 29-34 minutes. 
  3. Remove from oven. Let bread cool before slicing.

Muffin Baking Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375° F. Prepare batter as directed above.
  2. Pour batter into muffin cups and bake as follows:
    Standard 12 muffins, fill 2/3 full, bake 16-22 minutes.
    Jumbo 6 muffins, fill ½ full, bake 18-24 minutes.
    Mini 36 muffins, fill cups to top, bake 11-15 minutes. 
  3. Remove from oven. Let muffins cool before slicing.

High Altitude: Add 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour at step 2 of batter preparation above.

Ingredients

Sugar, enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), baking soda, leavening (sodium bicarbonate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), spices, salt.

Pumpkin Bread Variations

After preparing batter as instructed on back panel, simply add ONE of these ingredients and stir into batter:

  • Up to 1 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Up to 1 cup of raisins or dried cranberries
  • Up to ½ cup of mini-chocolate chips
  • Or use your imagination and add your favorite dry baking ingredient.

Bake as instructed on back panel.
